“I went to one of their arena concerts; I was kind of worried because it was a while since they had a solo concert tour last — It was amazing. There are some booms in Japan now, eg, Hallyu boom or K-pop boom, but I feel a sense of discomfort when people talk about them as one of them. After debuting as a J-pop artist, they worked their way into the current strong presence from the bottom up through hard work. That is their pride and that’s why they remain modest and sincere. A music critic, Hideki Take, who is my friend, went to a Tokyo Dome concert. He said “It was amazing.” You know, he has watched countless concerts so far. Their concert amazed such a person. He interviewed Tohoshinki by himself in a magazine named “WHAT’s IN?”.” — bayfm DJ (trans: @lisaliolisalio)
