There are some booms in Japan now, eg, Hallyu boom or K-pop boom, but I feel a sense of discomfort when people talk about them as one of them. After debuting as a J-pop artist, they worked their way into the current strong presence from the bottom up through hard work. That is their pride and that’s why they remain modest and sincere.
